On October 22, 2025, the Tennessee Military Department held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new National Guard Readiness Center at Fort Campbell, near Clarksville, Tennessee. The event took place at the Tennessee National Guard Unit Training and Equipment Site, Building 6090. Soldiers, military leaders, and local civic officials attended the ceremony. The new facility aims to improve the training and operational capabilities of the Tennessee Army National Guard.
Maj. Gen. Warner Ross, Tennessee’s Adjutant General, said the new center will improve readiness and provide Guardsmen with modern resources. The 31,000 square foot armory will include updated administration, training, supply, and storage areas. It will also feature energy-efficient systems to help reduce operating costs. The design includes parking for soldiers, visitors, and tactical vehicles.
