Clarksville Police launch registry for residents with special needs

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Clarksville Police Department announced it has launched a new registry for residents with special needs.

The caregivers of those with special needs can submit a Special Needs Form and a photo of the individual to the Clarksville Police and Fire Dispatch. The program is for residents who live in the city of Clarksville.

The purpose of the registry is to help first responders better assist those in the community with Autism, Dementia, limited communication abilities, or other special needs when responding to emergencies…
