Fort Campbell to Enhance Military Preparedness with New National Guard Armory on Kentucky-Tennessee Border

Fort Campbell, on the Kentucky-Tennessee border, will expand its capabilities with a new National Guard Armory. The Tennessee Military Department recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for the project, which aims to strengthen the readiness of the Tennessee Army National Guard.

At the groundbreaking ceremony on October 22, soldiers, local leaders, and military officials attended, the Tennessee Military Department reported. The project is intended to improve training for soldiers to carry out both federal and state missions.

“Tennessee Guardsmen training at Fort Campbell will soon be able to utilize a modern National Guard Armory” said Maj. Gen. Warner Ross in an official announcement.
