On any given day, Mason Rivers can be seen saving lives in North Clarksville, working out of Stations 21, 24, 26 and 28. On his off days, he’s working for Station 113, a fake station on the ABC show “9-1-1: Nashville” on a soundstage in Middle Tennessee.
Saving lives has been in Rivers’ blood since he was 16, when he began working as a volunteer with Fredericksburg, Virginia fire and rescue crews, he said. Now he’s using his skills to hopefully make a hit TV show more realistic.
“I just have a drive to help others and serve the community that I live in,” Rivers said.
