‘No credible threat’ found at any Cheatham County school, officials announce following lockout

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Two schools in Cheatham County have been put on a “lockout” as authorities work to identify the source of a possible threat, officials said.

According to the Cheatham County School District, Harpeth Middle School and Harpeth High School were put on a precautionary lockout on Monday, Nov. 24, at the request of law enforcement.

School officials said authorities are investigating a “targeted threat” at the high school, adding all students are safe.
