Robertson County firefighter diagnosed with serious, rare blood disorder

GREENBRIER, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Wilson County Firefighters Association is rallying behind a Tennessee firefighter after he was diagnosed with a rare and serious blood disorder.

Wilson County Firefighters Association Local 4238 said Ethan Stinson, a firefighter with the Greenbrier Fire Department, was recently diagnosed with aplastic anemia.

According to the Mayo Clinic, aplastic anemia is a condition in which your bone marrow stops making enough new blood cells. The condition can leave you tired and more prone to infections and uncontrolled bleeding…
