HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Christian County deputies arrested a Hopkinsville man with an active warrant in his home on Tuesday afternoon.
Tremayne Welch, 47, was arrested around 4:15 p.m. on Dec. 2 after deputies located him in his home on the 300 block of Braden Street. Welch had an active warrant for two counts of domestic violence, court documents reported.

Upon arriving at the scene, deputies alleged that they patted him down and found eight baggies, containing about 12 grams, of what they believed was methamphetamine in his pockets, along with marijuana.
Deputies also reported that they found a glass pipe used for smoking illegal narcotics. They also searched the vehicle, belonging to his mother, which Welch drove, and found a black bag inside a black container containing 114 grams of synthetic marijuana, two sets of digital scales, and pieces of aluminum foil. His mother alleged to deputies that he had put it there and that it all belonged to him.

Welch was arrested and charged with first-degree trafficking in methamphetamine, first offense, trafficking in synthetic drugs, possession of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Welch is also serving a warrant for first-degree domestic violence in strangulation and fourth-degree domestic violence in assault.
Welch is lodged in the Christian County Jail on a $10,000 bond. His arraignment was set for 9:01 a.m. on Dec. 3…
