Cindy and James “Cotton” Dawson, lifelong residents of White Bluff and proud William James Colonels, have been named Grand Marshals of this year’s Christmas Parade. The couple, well-known for their deep roots in the community, share their home with Les, their spirited five-year-old Yorkie.
Owners of White Bluff Ace Hardware and Hwy 47 Lumber Company, the Dawsons are recognized not only for their businesses but also for their unwavering support of local organizations. Their generosity has benefited youth programs such as the White Bluff Bombers and White Bluff Little League, and they have spent more than two decades backing numerous charitable fundraisers throughout the area.
While Cotton oversees operations at Hwy 47 Lumber Company, Cindy manages Ace Hardware alongside her son Andy Sullivan and granddaughter Allie Bradford. Their dedication to public service extends beyond their workday—both serve on the Board of Directors for the Claylick Fire Department, and Cotton represents the Fifth District on the Dickson County Commission…
