Suspect Arrested in Tennessee for Alleged Double Homicide in Gwinnett County, Georgia

A man has been taken into custody in Tennessee after being suspected of a double homicide in Gwinnett County, Georgia. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, the Gwinnett County police initiated their investigation last Friday night upon discovering two individuals fatally shot inside a vehicle near Harbins Road and Harbins Point Lane in Lilburn.

Simultaneously, officers responded to a separate call some distance away on Windscape Village Lane in Norcross, where they found another man suffering from a gunshot wound. The two crime scenes were swiftly determined to be related, leading the police to quickly identify and begin to attempt to locate the suspect. While details on the motive are scarce, detectives identified 54-year-old Javier Aragon Ruiz as the suspect in question.
