Dickson County, TN – Law enforcement across Tennessee is reminding drivers to “Move Over—It’s the Law” after reporting more than 230 crashes statewide in 2024 caused by drivers failing to follow the Move Over Law.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, 231 crashes occurred last year when motorists did not switch lanes or slow down for emergency or service vehicles stopped on the roadside with flashing lights.
