CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Law enforcement in Clarksville announced Saturday afternoon that an investigation is underway following a shooting that left a teenager injured.
The Clarksville Police Department said it responded to a report of “a shooting that had already occurred” in the Chinook Circle area at approximately 1:05 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13.

Authorities said they found a 16-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the upper thigh. The victim was brought to Tennova Healthcare to be treated for his injury, which reportedly “does not appear to be life-threatening.”
According to officials, the preliminary investigation indicates this wasn’t a random incident, but there doesn’t appear to be an active threat to those in the area or the community at large…
