Tennessee officials searching for suspect in Kentucky homicide

OAK GROVE, Ky. (FOX 56) — Tennessee officials are searching for a man wanted in connection with a deadly Kentucky shooting.

The Oak Grove Police Department wrote in a Wednesday Facebook post that the shooting occurred on Nov. 23. The victim was identified as Jaylin Glenn.

Investigators reported that they issued a warrant for the arrest of Avery Bates, 28, after he allegedly fired the single shot that killed Glenn, according to the police department.

The warrant is out of Clarksville, Tennessee, but police believe Bates had fled the area…
