CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — If you live in Clarksville and are looking for a way to dispose of your live Christmas tree, the city’s Forestry Division of Building & Facilities Maintenance Department has just the thing.
The city, the Clarksville Tree Board, CDE Lightband, and Clarksville Parks and Recreation are offering residents recycling of their fresh-cut Christmas trees and wreaths at Heritage Park.
Franklin bringing city’s first inclusive playground
Starting Friday, Dec. 26, Clarksville residents can bring their undecorated, unbagged, live Christmas trees, as well as their live wreaths with metal backings removed, to 1241 Preachers Mill Road during park hours to recycle them. The park is open from dawn until dusk each day.
There will be a designated, taped-off space in the park’s soccer parking area for residents to drop off their trees. They will be chipped on-site to be used as mulch for landscaping and trails…
