TENNESSEE — Charges are pending against a driver involved in a deadly head-on crash Friday evening in Clarksville, according to police.
The Clarksville Police Department said the collision occurred at approximately 5:45 p.m. on 101st Airborne Division Parkway between Peachers Mill Road and the West Fork Bridge. A preliminary investigation determined that a westbound vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic and struck an eastbound vehicle head-on.
Officials said a female front-seat passenger in the eastbound vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The female driver of that vehicle and a child passenger were transported to hospitals in the Nashville area, where they were reported to be in stable condition…
