CLARKSVILLE, TN – On Dec. 16, several nonprofit organizations celebrated the 15th anniversary of the Annie E. Moore Toy Drive. Donations of toys and cold weather clothing were presented to Byrns Darden Elementary School. Four generations of Annie Moore were in attendance.
The toy drive started with over 200 toys in 2011 and reached a total of 2,570 toys and cold weather clothing in 2025! School counselor Brooke Currasquillo and staff expressed their appreciation of the donors’ assistance with setting up the toy display. Several ladies of the local community along with three generations of Annie Moore assisted with the setup of the toy display.
School Principal Ashlie Perry said she was pleased to receive the donations and expressed ways to make the distribution process next year more efficient for recipients. The donations serviced children ages 0 to 11 years old…
