Lee visits Springfield on statewide tour

As part of a continued tour across the state, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee made a stop in Robertson County last week, where he met with local leaders and visited a number of local businesses.

Since July, the governor has made his way through Tennessee’s 95 counties on his year-long “America 250” tour, to celebrate the United States’ Semiquincentennial in 2026.

Under the theme “Tennessee: The Original Frontier,” the tour’s primary goal is to honor Tennessee’s many contributions to American history and culture by highlighting the state’s deep agriculture heritage and impact of small businesses in local communities, including businesses that have been in operation for over 100 years.
