The Human Rights Commission of Hopkinsville-Christian County are keeping their fingers crossed for good weather, as the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day March and celebration is set to take place on January 19.
This is a time-honored tradition in Hopkinsville, and Executive Director Raychel Farmer invites the community to participate, with the march set to begin at Freedom Elementary School at 9 a.m. that morning. It will make its way over to Hopkinsville Community College, where a program featuring local youth will take place in the auditorium building.
