Rep. Dossett discusses upcoming legislation, auditor’s report

There will be plenty of talk about and consider when the Kentucky General Assembly convenes in the first week of January, and local legislators are bringing their priorities to the table.

Representative Myron Dossett represents the Ninth District, which is a large portion of Christian County, and as one of the legislator’s longest serving members, he’s no stranger at all to a budget session. He’s not particularly worried about the governor’s anticipated funding shortfall, and he doesn’t expect they’ll drastically cut funding, though he says legislators will work to tighten down their line items in a budget.
