Angels are often associated with harps, but this Christmas one local angel will be playing praises on the guitar. It’s all thanks to the work of some Tennsco employees and a local school teacher who desires to make every local child’s first 18 Christmases merry and melodic.
Hillary Capes, a teacher at Charlotte Middle School, began Resilient Moms of Dickson County (RMDC) from a desire to help single moms and their children with some of the financial challenges single-parent families face, especially around the holidays. Capes understands those needs having personally experienced being a single parent.
Capes has been pleasantly surprised by the community’s support in making the Christmas experience of others merry and bright.
