The Christian County Lady Colonels lost their first game at the First Bank Holiday Bash hosted by South Warren to Central Hardin. They played Daviess County in their second game, but were unable to bounce back, losing this time 63-41.
They started out down just three points after the first quarter of play. Genesis McGee was able to put in a pair of threes, while Anaysia Bagwell and Carlie Hobson were also able to get on the board. But it was the second quarter that got the team into trouble.
McGee scored the team’s only field goal in the quarter, and Carliah Hobson was able to make a free throw, but those were the only points the Lady Colonels scored in the second period. This led them to be down 31-15 going into the halftime break…
