An elderly Dickson County couple fell prey to a convincing con, and a fake crisis led to a real predicament for a courier from Georgia.
According to an arrest affidavit obtained from the Dickson County General Sessions Court filed by the Dickson County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO), an elderly Dickson County woman received a text message the first week of October claiming hackers had obtained her personal information, jeopardizing her assets.
