Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts and Montgomery County Mayor Wes Golden took time during the annual Mayors Power Breakfast Jan. 6 to reflect on successes within their governments and plans that lie ahead in 2026.
The annual breakfast, held at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center, was attended by hundreds of community members offering support to the city and county leadership.
Mayor Pitts, who has said he will not seek re-election this year, took time to publicly thank the support from Clarksville’s city employees and department heads for assisting him in his leadership role.
“They’re the people I have come to depend on to make sure we’re moving forward and progressing in the right, responsible manner,” Pitts said. “They’re focused on making sure the services we provide are the highest quality and the people we hire are the best anywhere.”…
