I-65 Crash Leaves Driver Seriously Injured Monday
CROSS PLAINS, TENNESSEE: (Sm0key Barn News) A serious rollover crash on I-65 in Robertson County on Monday left a young man hospitalized with serious injuries. This will be an update to a crash report we brought you yesterday. The crash occurred near the Guthrie Road overpass when the vehicle left the interstate “rolling end over end” before landing on Rock House Road, adjacent to the Cross Plains Quarry, the first call coming into 911 at 1:32 pm Monday. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just before 2:00 p.m. near the Guthrie Road overpass. THP reports the vehicle was traveling southbound on I-65 when it left the roadway to the right and traveled down an earth embankment.
