Another pretrial hearing was set in Christian Circuit Court Wednesday morning for murder suspect Anthony Moore, as his defense looks to see if a resolution can be reached.
Public defender Daniel Sherman represents Moore, and he says he’s reached out to the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office to see if this case could be resolved outside of trial, but he hasn’t heard back yet. Commonwealth’s Attorney Maureen Leamy says she still needs to speak with the family of the victim, so another hearing was set for a week out.
In the meantime, Sherman says he believes they have all the evidence in this case, but he’ll be looking into getting an expert to go over Moore’s mental evaluation report…
