Clarksville Power of Words to return for 4th anniversary event

CLARKSVILLE, TN – Clarksville Power of Words (CPW), the beloved open-mic live performance event showcasing poets, singers, rappers, musicians, comedians, and spoken word artists from across middle Tennessee, is thrilled to announce its fourth anniversary celebration. The anniversary takes place during the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend, 2026, marking the program’s return and CPW’s relocation to Clarksville’s Eggs Up Grill (970 Tiny Town Rd, Suite A-B).

The anniversary event will take place on Saturday, January 17, with doors opening at 6:30 PM and the show starting at 7 PM. Admission is $20 for fans and $15 for performing artists, with VIP booths available for purchase online at powerofwords931.com.

Army veteran J.A.K. (Justified & Ambitious King) Danger founded CPW in January 2022 with support from poet Komplex Simplicity, CPW’s director of operations. The monthly event has provided a platform for artists to hone their craft, grow their artistry, and deliver performances for the Clarksville and surrounding community.
