Clarksville City Council postponed the vote on a grant proposal until March 5 that would secure the purchase of The Well nonprofit that aids those struggling with housing.
During the Jan. 8 City Council meeting, an ordinance that would allow the city to purchase The Well using a Community Development Block Grant was postponed. Clarksville Urban Ministries would operate The Well if city council approves the use of funding.
