We were notified last week about a giant hole across from GH Armor right next to Highway 49. After doing some research we discovered the hole has been there for quite some time. Apparently it all started nearly two years ago, when the culvert was clogged and flooded the bottom at Castle Lane and Hwy 49. The Town of Dover cleared it out and let TDOT know. A few months ago, TDOT placed some construction barrels at the hole but they fell into the ditch and couldn’t even be seen from the road.
