Christian County Public Schools is anticipating a decrease to state funding next year to reflect a decrease in enrollment. District Director of Finance, Jessica Darnell presented the School Board with the working budget Thursday night.
She is estimating a reduction to ADA, average daily attendance, of 200, which would equate to over $2.5 million in SEEK funding from the state.
Darnell says they are not budgeting replacement buses or technology. The School Board will take its next look at the 2026-2027 budget in May…
