What began as a traffic stop for a stolen vehicle led to a pursuit and an attempted carjacking on Fort Campbell Boulevard Thursday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say when they tried to stop the stolen vehicle, the driver fled, almost colliding with other vehicles, and struck a tractor-trailer at the intersection of Fort Campbell Boulevard and the Eagle Way Bypass.
