Country’s 2nd largest Army museum to open this spring by Fort Campbell

FORT CAMPBELL, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Tennessee Wings of Liberty Museum is expected to open in the next couple of months, and will be the second-largest Army museum in the country.

Located at the intersection of Fort Campbell Boulevard and Tiny Town Road, the museum is located just outside the Fort Campbell military installation, so entry onto post is not needed. Admission is free to the public.

The 50,000-square-foot museum, situated on a 33-acre campus, showcases the legacy of Fort Campbell’s most storied units in military history, including the 101st Airborne Division, the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, the 5th Group Special Forces Group, and other tenant divisions, according to a news release from Visit Clarksville. Exhibits highlight campaigns including World War II, Vietnam, Desert Storm, the Global War on Terrorism and current ongoing operations.
