HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Two farms in Christian County among many producers in the Commonwealth that were awarded on Jan. 15 for their top yields and grain quality during the Kentucky Commodity Conference in Bowling Green. This annual event gathers row-crop farmers and gives them the opportunity to be recognized.
The conference is administered annually by the University of Kentucky Department of Plant & Soil Sciences and sponsored by Kentucky Soybean, Kentucky Corn and Small Grain Growers and Kentucky agribusinesses.
Hunt Farms and Folz Farms, both based in Christian County, were among the farmers who were awarded in Bowling Green, according to a news release from UK.
