Teen charged after fleeing from Montgomery County deputies, crashing into another vehicle

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A teenager has been charged after they allegedly fled from Montgomery County deputies and crashed into another vehicle on Monday afternoon.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the 16-year-old — who is from Tennessee — was traveling east in a 2014 red Dodge Challenger on Britton Springs Road. Another vehicle, a 2024 red Nissan Titan, was traveling south on US-41A in the middle lane.

The Challenger reportedly unlawfully ran from police and then ran a red light while turning left at the intersection of US-41A and Britton Springs Road, officials said.
