Neighbors step up during Clarksville ice storm, helping others through power outages

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — As icy conditions and power outages gripped Clarksville over the weekend, residents say the storm revealed something else: Neighbors helping neighbors.

While police say road conditions have improved since Saturday, side streets, neighborhoods and parking lots remained slick in many areas, making travel difficult. For some families, that meant relying on friends, neighbors and volunteers to get through the worst of the storm.
