CHEATHAM COUNTY, Tenn. (WZTV) — Nearly two weeks after a powerful ice storm swept through Middle Tennessee, most of Cheatham County has had power restored, but five homes remained in the dark heading into day 12.
County leaders confirm those remaining outages all involve customers served by Nashville Electric Service. Other utilities operating in the county, including Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation and Dickson Electric System, have already restored power to all of their customers.
