Clarksville Police Department welcomes seven new officers to the force

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — The Clarksville Police Department welcomed seven new officers to its ranks, officials announced.

On Wednesday, Feb. 11, Mayor Joe Pitts and Police Chief Ty Burdine introduced the recruits, who will begin attending the Walters State Regional Law Enforcement Training Academy in April 2026.

Until then, the officers will participate in the department’s in-house training program, led by CPD’s Training Division.
