Middle Tennessee high school teacher temporarily removed from campus for ‘inappropriate comments directed towards students’

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A high school teacher has been temporarily removed from campus and must work from home after the school system found that she had made inappropriate comments directed toward students.

Vaughn Hart, a biology teacher at Rossview High School, was told in a letter from the director of schools this week that an investigation had shown she made “unprofessional and inappropriate comments directed towards students” in a document she had left for a substitute teacher. The director of schools, Jean Luna-Vedder, said that Hart had also displayed “unacceptable performance.”

Documents from the school show that on January 16, Hart had left notes for her sub that included “derogatory language” when describing students by name. Those notes included, “soooo annoying, annoying, won’t shuuut uuuup, sooooo immature, sucks, so stupid, etc,” and, “Jesus God this class sucks!”…
