North and South Todd Elementary Schools dominated the Governor’s Cup district competition Saturday. Feb. 7.
Both schools’ academic teams traveled to Stevenson Elementary in Russellville, Kentucky for the Kentucky Association for Academic Competition (KAAC) event, which Todd County Schools academic team coach Lisa Petrie says included a mix of team and individual competitions.
The final count includes 21 individual wins among 15 students, plus South and North Todd brought home first and second place in the quick recall competition, respectively. North Todd also won first in Future Problem Solvers, and after adding up the total scores for the overall winner, the two schools were only 0.5 points apart…
