Fourteen wrestlers across five different Robertson County teams qualified for the state wrestling tournament that begins on Feb. 20 at the Williamson County Ag-Expo Center.
Greenbrier boys led the way with six qualifiers. Vincent Ward finished second in Section 3-AA at 157 pounds. Will Carter, Harold Ward, Elvis Valencia, Owen Hassler and Ian Stewart all finished third in their respective weight classes.
Springfield was the only school to send girls wrestlers to the state tournament. A’shawnsie Leavell and Farah Dickerson both finished third at 126 and 185 pounds, respectively…
