SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. (WKRN) — The City of Springfield Parks and Recreation Department is updating its five-year master plan, and they want to hear from the community on it.
The department told News 2 is preparing to apply for funds to enhance the soccer fields at Martin Luther King Jr. Park, and community input is vital to this process.
Foxland Harbor Marina project scrapped
Residents are encouraged to share their feedback by completing a short online survey and attending a public meeting this week.
The survey closes at the end of day Monday, Feb. 16, and the meeting will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 5 p.m. at the Center on North Main Street.

The meeting will provide an overview of the master plan update, information on the proposed grant project, and an opportunity for residents to ask questions and provide feedback, according to the City of Springfield.
