DICKSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A portion of Interstate 40 in Dickson County is closed Tuesday morning due to a multi-vehicle crash.
All westbound lanes of Interstate 40 near mile marker 172 are fully blocked due to the crash. As of 8 a.m., traffic was backed up approximately four miles.
Tennessee Department of Transportation officials said traffic is allowed to take the exit and re-enter the interstate to avoid the area that is shut down for the investigation.
