Clarksville Man Arrested In Hopkinsville After Alleged Exposure Spree

Hopkinsville police say a Clarksville man is behind a string of alleged indecent-exposure incidents at area businesses, including shops in both Hopkinsville and nearby Oak Grove. Detectives arrested Lamarcus Treon Johnson on Monday after tying him to reports that a man had exposed himself at multiple locations on February 10, according to the department.

Arrest and charges

Investigators say they located Johnson on February 23 and took him into custody in connection with the February 10 exposure reports. In a public update, Hopkinsville Police said Johnson is charged under KRS 525.070, the state harassment statute that does not require physical contact, and what the release lists as KRS 510.050 for indecent exposure in the second degree.

Connection to Clarksville case

The Hopkinsville release also notes that Johnson was already on pretrial release in a separate 2025 case out of Clarksville. Local coverage at the time reported that on August 12, 2025, a man identified as Lemarcus Treon Johnson was accused of exposing himself to a woman and her 1-year-old child at a Dollar Tree on Warfield Boulevard, as reported in coverage of an alleged indecent exposure at Clarksville Dollar Tree.

Police asking for tips

Detectives say the current Hopkinsville investigation started after tips that a man exposed himself to multiple women at businesses in Hopkinsville and Oak Grove on February 10. They are asking anyone who was present, has video, or has other information to come forward.
