Autopsy shows 6 gunshot wounds, BAC above legal limit in Dodge’s murder trial

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Testimony continued Wednesday in the first-degree murder trial stemming from the 2023 shooting outside Dodge’s on Fort Campbell Boulevard.

Otis Lee Barnes, Maleike Tyree Hamlin and Santanna Antonio Compton McFarlan have pleaded not guilty in the death of Jarlen Corbin, 29.

Autopsy: 6 gunshot wounds, alcohol, THC detected

William McClain, an expert in forensic pathology with Forensic Medical Management Services, testified he performed Corbin’s autopsy on Jan. 29, 2023. McClain said he documented six gunshot wounds and ruled the manner of death a homicide.

Alcohol and THC were detected in Corbin’s blood. His blood alcohol concentration was 0.122, above the legal driving limit of 0.08. “Both of those substances dull you reactions, or slow them down,” McClain testified, adding that neither substance contributed to Corbin’s death…
