Black History Month: Michael Andrews On Food, Farming And Fellowship

Business leader Michael Andrews wears many hats in the Todd County community.

Originally from Todd County, Andrews was born and raised on a family farm in the Guthrie area. Growing up, he was always around farming and cooking, which he has taken into his adult life as well.

Andrews worked with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for 40 years until he retired. Since retiring, he has then opened a food truck, began farming again, serves on the Kentucky State University Extension Service and mentors young African American men in the county…
