Several indictments were handed down by a Christian County Grand Jury last week.
Indicted for first-degree assault is 42-year-old Irean Coleman of Hopkinsville—she is accused of stabbing a victim in the chest on Hazel Street in January, causing a significant injury. Coleman allegedly said the victim had stabbed her first, but no wounds were found on her person by law enforcement.
The grand jury indicted 40-year-old Richard Anderson of Hopkinsville on charges of trafficking in carfentanil or Fentanyl derivatives, first-degree promoting contraband, passion of methamphetamine and felony receiving stolen property in relation to an incident that occurred in December where he was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl, while operating a vehicle that had been reported stolen…
