An elderly man from Springfield died last month following a head-on collision involving a sedan and a pickup truck hauling concrete mixer.
The crash occurred on the morning of Friday, Feb. 20 in the 3400 block of Kinneys Road, with the first call received by 911 dispatchers just after 8:30 am.
According to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a 2011 Chrysler 200 was traveling west on Kinneys Road as a 2007 Nissan Titan pickup truck was traveling east.
