A man was rushed to the hospital Saturday evening following a collision involving a semi-truck on Fort Campbell Boulevard.
It happened in the area of Popshelf just before 6 p.m. and Hopkinsville Fire and EMS Captain Payton Rogers tells WHOP News that the crash was between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer where the sedan became wedged underneath the semi trailer. The male victim in his 40’s was trapped inside and had to be mechanically extricated.
Once he was removed from the wreckage, he was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center with CPR in progress. The names of those involved have not yet been released…
