Clarksville council advances Old Russellville Pike rezoning after narrow vote

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A proposed neighborhood development on Old Russellville Pike is one step closer to reality after a narrow vote at City Hall.

Clarksville City Council voted 7–6 to approve the first reading of an ordinance that would rezone about 10 acres at 1911 Old Russellville Pike from R-1 to R-2A. The change would allow more single-family homes on the property than current zoning permits.
