State announces Create Energy expansion in Orlinda

Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee, Deputy Gov. and Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter and Create Energy officials announced on March 11 that the company is launching a major expansion, creating a total of 1,003 new jobs and investing more than $78 million across Sumner and Robertson Counties.

“Today’s announcement underscores what world-class companies like Create Energy already know – Tennessee is the best place to live, work and raise a family. I’m grateful for Create Energy’s investment in our highly skilled workforce and proud to announce their expansion that will create greater opportunity for more than 1,000 Tennessee families,” Gov. Bill Lee said in a press statement.

Central to this expansion, the company has acquired a 338,000-square-foot facility in Orlinda that will become its primary manufacturing hub, significantly scaling its production capabilities to meet growing demand for their products and solutions.
