Austin Peay State University Police Department is reinforcing its ongoing traffic enforcement efforts on and around its campus, the university announced.
The initiative will focus on areas with heavy pedestrian traffic, particularly between classes. The university’s police department aims to address speeding, distracted driving and other behaviors that endanger pedestrians, according to the announcement.
