I-65 reopens in Robertson County after multi-vehicle crash involving officer

ROBERTSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A portion of Interstate 65 near Cross Plains was blocked for several hours Saturday following a multi-vehicle crash involving a law enforcement officer, officials said.

According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation, just before 11 a.m., the crash was reported in the northbound lanes of I-65 near mile marker 114.

Officials initially said the incident involved a vehicle that collided head-on with the officer. Both the officer and driver of the other vehicle reportedly had minor injuries and were wearing their seatbelts at the time.
